Story behind the dish

Malawach is Yemenite flaky bread that the Jewish community of Aden brought to Israel in Operation Magic Carpet. It is pan fried and served with fried egg and spicy cilantro sauce. It's Sunday breakfast from Jerusalem markets and street stalls.
